Return of the Heavyweights

Many have had a greater impact, and some have had more influence. But no rap group has displayed greater technical rapping ability than Freestyle Fellowship, the collective of Aceyalone, Mykah 9, P.E.A.C.E. and Self Jupiter.

And now, 10 years after their meager last group effort and solo albums of declining quality, it looks like they're back to rappin' their asses off. "We Are" is the first song off of the group's upcoming full-length The Promise, which better be good if it's going to reference the group's chant from its legendary debut tape: "We will never fall the fuck off, we promise."

Freestyle Fellowship - 'We Are' by DeconRecords

The album will feature production from Black Milk, Eligh and Exile. Hopefully with an emphasis on Black Milk.
