SDCC 2010, Ch. 4. - Enter Simone Bianchi

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting one of my favorite comic book artists, Simone Bianchi. This Italian artist was very down to earth and cordial. I love his very distinct style with his usage of watercolor halftones and ink wash techniques.



Though the bulk of his work cover work, he did mention to me that he just finished a 6-issue mini-series featuring The God of Thunder - Thor:For Asgard, where he will be providing cover & internal art. This series will be written Robert Rodi and will be coming out in September/October.


Mr. Bianchi was kind enough to give me a couple of pieces made specifically for SDCC 2010. One word - Beautiful.
